Wishing one and all an abundance of grace today, dear friends, from Bali with love. (No, I’m not there today although my son, daughter-in-love and our Jazz have already celebrated, being 16 hours ahead.) This is a photo I took of a temple in a forest in Bali, two weeks after Jazz was born in a bathtub filled with frangipani flowers, delivered into the loving hands of the Mother Teresa of babies, Ibu Robin Lim. I send this out to all the mamas and papas and babies and children, grandmas and grandpas, sisters, brother, aunties, uncles, cousins and the worldwide community of friends who are family. I send it to those of us who are lonely and sad today and to all of us with empty seats at the table for those we’ve loved and lost. My heart is with you. We are all one.
